Germein band to watch

Growing up jamming together on their family farm in South Australia, sisters Georgia (guitar, keys), Ella (bass, electric cello), and Clara Germein (drums) have since been turning heads across the globe with their unique brand of catchy indie rock pop songs & signature harmonies.

Having toured with the likes of Phil Collins, Little Mix, & Jess Glynne to name a few, Germein’s energetic and charismatic live show has been described as nothing short of mesmerising.

Taking their lead from strong female artists like Haim, Chvrches and Tegan & Sara; Germein possess the kind of close musical partnership that can only be shared by siblings. Inspired by the vocal harmonies of iconic bands such as Queen and Fleetwood Mac, both whom they have been honoured to appear on the lineup with at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Writing and recording their music on the road or in their home studio, Germein’s latest tracks including Talking, Knocking At My Door, and their newest single Little Part of Me have been produced by lead singer Georgia Germein. “We realised it was time to take control for ourselves and really start making the music that we want to make on our own terms’” says Georgia. “We decided to record and produce ourselves, and when we hit play on our new stuff, we knew it was the musical vision we’ve had for ourselves finally coming to life.”

“The energy put into this song has paid off – with style, plenty of sass, edgy guitars, & a soaring chorus shows off a range of influences. Their tight harmonies show off how perfectly their voices work together & prove that they have musical finesse to be reckoned with” Line of Best Fit (UK)

The girls are currently based in the UK touring their music extensively across the country including London, Brighton, Norwich, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Inverness and Orkney to name a few. They have also just been shortlisted in the top 5 unsigned acts in a competition run by HOAX to open for Ed Sheeran on the closing night of his record-breaking Divide World Tour.
