How
long have you been together as a band?
We've
have been the Addictive Girlz about a year, a couple of us
joined a few months ago, we have gelled together really well.
Did
you all know each other before the band formed or did you
all get together though auditions?
We
all met though the audition circuit, Kristen and Sophie met
first then the rest of us came together through rehearsals.
How
would you describe Addictive Girlz sound and style?
It's
a blend of pop and R&B you can listen to it in a club
and dance along to it, it's fun music, it's something for
everyone, our music is not like any one else who is in the
charts.
When
will you be releasing your debut single?
We
don't have a confirmed release date,
We all love Rush so much, Rush has so much energy, everybody
loves it, we are hoping Rush will be our first single. 2010
is going to be our year, watch out Addictive girlz are coming!
we can't wait.
You've
got a sexy on stage performance style, who comes up with the
ideas for your live shows?
Carly
our Chorography, she comes up with amazing ideas for us she
is fantastic, we have our own influences as well, we love
getting involved, we enjoy being on stage performing so much
we put everything into it.
Do
you all have individual songs which you prefer performing
live?
Kitty
is really funky and fun, we all love Rush, Crushed is good
very chilled out. Rush you really feel the energy everyone
seems to love it really well received.
Where
will you be performing next?
Were
doing Madame Jo Jo's on the 15th its a big music showcase
industry night, there will be lots of press and record labels
there. ( How many songs will you be performing?) we will be
performing 2 songs 'Go On Boy' and 'Rush' which is our signature
tune, it's the song that we want as our first single.
Do
you get nervous before performing live?
We
all do get nervous for different reasons, we put everything
into our performances its like a adrenaline rush, when we
come off stage after a gig its the best feeling in the world.
We all love being on stage so much, this is what we love do
it's an amazing feeling nothing can beat it.
Where
can we catch you live? Any tour supports perhaps?
We
just have our own gigs, 2010 is the year for us. We would
love to support if the opportunity came up we would be up
for it. Were rehearsing hard, getting our name out there and
making it happen for us, we want Addictive Girlz to be huge.
Do
you find some crowds are harder to work that others?
Depends
on the venue weather it's underage, we have to change some
of our songs depending on the age group like some love 'Kitty'
were as others don't get it, so far the crowds have been amazing,
they have shown us so much support.
Are
you currently working on your debut album?
We
are in process of recording at the moment, we're working on
our harmonies. Were pushing to release Rush first, our main
priority is to get the Addictive Girls name out there, promote
Rush and follow with our debut album exciting times for us.
we love it.
Do
you write any of your own material?
We'd
love to inspire to write our own songs, we would love to co
write our album, at the moment we are working with other writers
and producers, the writers who are working with us on our
album have written for the Pussycat Dolls which is amazing.Look
out Addictive Girlz are coming this year!
How
important is chart success to you?
It
is important, its a bench mark for artists, we would love
to be in the charts, to be at no1 would be amazing. We love
performing being on stage, to get into the charts you get
bigger gigs, it is defiantly a bench mark it's what any artist
would want.
What
are Addictive Girls plans for 2010?
Just
promoting us-Music Heard, record companies hearing us, getting
singed.
2010 is going to be a lot of work, everything is coming together
nicely we have amazing management, working really hard, rehearsing
hard, getting Addictive Girlz name out there.

YLOTANA
Project was born in the consciousness of people, who
are infinitely devoted to art. It represents a certain
musical, literary and visual art symbiosis. The vision
of this project is to expand the role of art in people's
day-to-day lives. The realization of this idea is done
by continuously experimenting with visual, acoustic
and written aspects of art in a way, which resonates
with vibrancy and passion that is almost childlike in
its exploration. The key idea of this project is to
utilize visual art, comics, insightful stories and deeply
explorative experimental music in order to provide a
unique 4D image, which titillates the senses, borders
on the transcendent, but is still very accessible to
the masses.
The
end product consists of a multimedia package, which
includes elements of: a music album, a comic book and
an audio book all sophisticatedly combined, so that
each element intensifies the depth of the other art
forms involved. Ylotana Project currently consists of
five ongoing projects, all of which can be experienced
on our website: www.ylotana.com.
