Fenix

Fenix the hottest RnB group to emerge on the music scene for a long time are back with the release of there second single the incredible sexy, sassy, feel good 'Swagga' is coming February 2010. Fenix have been giving music fans a taste of the Fenix live experience as support to N Dubz and Tinchy Stryder on there massive arena tour earlier this year, for your chance to catch Fenix live go to there official myspace @ www.myspace.com/fenixladies while you are there you can listen to there stunning new single Swagga plus remixes and watch there music videos.

Swagga is your next single release, is this still the bands favorite song to perform live?

I think it is, Swagga gets a great response, even though Lady Baby was our first release, Swagga has had so many more hits through our myspace and you tube, performing Swagga live the reaction has been unbelievable.

Is there a story behind Swagga?

Swagga is about having confidence, being happy weather your a goth, punk, who ever you are, juts believe in your self, we say Swagga all the time, so when was writing this song the word Swagga just kept coming up.

Will the Swagga re mixes be featured on the single release?

Yes all the re mixes will be available on the cd, when is Swagga released? Swagga's out in February we haven't got a confirmed date yet, our video is released to music tv and you tube soon. We've just seen the 1st edit it is really good.

Where did you shoot this video?

We shot the video in a car museum in London, there was all these weird old cars, like the bat mobile, in the video we have a solid gold Lamborghini, it was so cool. its really flash video, look out for it on our my space, you tube, music tv, everywhere!

Do you come up with the choreography for your music videos and live stage performances your self?

Patchell Wallis came up with choreography, she is my best mate, we've been in dance groups together, i'm from a dancing back ground and when we was working on Swagga i said i knew the
perfect person to do the choreography she just happened to be my best mate, we do have an amazing input to everything we do, from writing our songs, to what we wear, we work alongside a great team.

What can we expect from your album? is Swagga a good indication?

Our album is very different if listen to Lady Baby then Swagga they are so different from each other, we have club tracks on there, rnb tracks, ballads, there's something that everyone can relate to, we write all our own songs, ya know it all comes from us, issues we address, we have a track called Dangerous Rumours, its about a rumour being started and carried on and it turns into this dangerous situation, you can really relate our songs to every day life. We have the club good times tracks, its all on there.

Have you finished recording your album?

We've got about 40 tracks, we don't have a limit, Were constantly writing new songs, we pick songs that we feel will fit on the album the best, expect a lot of tracks from us, were not going to release an album with just 7 tracks on it, there will be about 15 tracks on there. Do you have a release date confirmed? Not yet, our plan is to release Swagga then another single then push our album afterwards.

Have you got many shows in the run up to Xmas and new Year?

We are just waiting for the video to be released and then be plugged on to radio. Were hoping to support JLS next year, not sure if that happening yet, we hope so, all out dates will be on out my space:www.myspace.com/fenixladies.

From touring with N Dubz and Tinchy Stryder, do you see a lot of the same faces coming back to see you live?

We always see new faces in the crowds, our loyal fans will be there but perhaps there further back, online followers are the same, they are constantly messaging us and supporting us.
do you still find some of the crowds are easier to work than others? The younger crowds are easier to please, they don't seem to care what people think they scream, they shout, they just get really into it, with adults they just stand there they don't wanna be seem jumping around and shouting! it's the younger audience is who we are aiming our music at.

Any messages for your fans?

Be your self, get out there follow your dreams, stay positive, find what you want and work your way towards that it's a lot of hard work
but its worth it. Thank you for all your support to fenix so far :-)
