Your new single Echo released on the 18th January, what are your expectations towards chart success ( any nerves before the chart is announced?)

Well were all hoping for the best, we have just been added to the alist on Radio One's play list were really excited and happy about that. I'm hoping for the top ten. Phoebe get's crazy and she panics, she will ring me saying do you think we should have done this, have we done enough, it's really funny me and Jess have to calm her down.

Where did you shoot the video for Echo?

We shot Echo at tree mill studios in North London.

Is there a story behind Echo?

The story behind Echo is a relationship what is dead but wont die. A girl wanting to communicate with her boyfriend, she is unhappy that he wont communicate with her. It's like she can only hear her own Echo.

Echo has a darker edge than Keep your head up, how do you decide on the follow up singles?

We always said we was a darker pop band, we didn't have Echo at first, we just know what to release, When we heard Echo we went crazy for it we knew we wanted it for our second single. Like when we heard Keep your head up we liked it straight away, it's a really good pop song, it has done amazing for us, really opened the door.

Is Echo a good indication of what your fans can expect from your debut album?

Yes i would say Echo is a better indication than Keep Your Head Up, When we heard Echo we knew it would be our 2nd single, some of the tracks have a dance feel, some have a rock edge. We are really proud of this album.

Pixie Lott is one of the artists who's written for your debut album, have you been working with any other artists?

Yes Pixie Lott wrote a song called Alone which will on our album, Shaznay Lewis has also wrote two songs for us, Turn It up and Another Day, Pixie and Shaznay are amazing talented songwriters it's been a honor working with both of them.

Have you written any songs for your album?

We co wrote the b side to Echo, we also wrote the b side to Keep Your Head Up, this year we do want to get involved with writing more.

How much control do you have over the direction of your music?

We have meetings, we share opinion's over everything, we have discussions until everyone's happy, we didn't realize how much input we would have from our music videos to what we wear. We had massive input into Echo, we are so happy with how we look in that video it's amazing.

Having supported Girls Aloud on tour, any other supports coming up? Any plans for a Girl's Can't Catch headline tour?

Having supported Girls Aloud and Jonas Brothers, I don't think so, if the opportunity come's up to support we would be up for it.

Do you find some crowds are harder to reach out to than others?

Echo has taken off, given us a wide range of older and younger people, when we supported Girls Aloud, we was new, no body knew who Girl's Can't Catch were, it was a good foundation for us, we had a really good response, when we supported the Jonas Brothers the crowds were amazing so loud really crazy, more people seemed to know who Girl's Can't Catch were it was awwesome.

Do you have a favorite song which you love performing live as a band or individually?

We love performing our recent songs, at the moment we haven't performed every song from our album, we can't wait until we can perform more album tracks, myself, Jess and phoebe are really excited.

Where and when can we see you performing next?

Our next gigs coming are in Bristol and Worcester, all of our dates are on our web site. (www.myspace.com/girlscantcatch)

What are Girl's Can't Catch plans for 2010?

Were hoping for success with Echo, 2 more singles after Echo, releases our album middle of March. We are very fortunate to be in this position, big things happening. Hopefully things will work out and we can tour in the Summer.

Any messages for your fans?

Thank you so much, your support on twitter and on our fan sites is incredible. Thank you for being so supportive at our gigs, we can't wait to see you all again.

YLOTANA Project was born in the consciousness of people, who are infinitely devoted to art. It represents a certain musical, literary and visual art symbiosis. The vision of this project is to expand the role of art in people's day-to-day lives. The realization of this idea is done by continuously experimenting with visual, acoustic and written aspects of art in a way, which resonates with vibrancy and passion that is almost childlike in its exploration. The key idea of this project is to utilize visual art, comics, insightful stories and deeply explorative experimental music in order to provide a unique 4D image, which titillates the senses, borders on the transcendent, but is still very accessible to the masses.

The end product consists of a multimedia package, which includes elements of: a music album, a comic book and an audio book all sophisticatedly combined, so that each element intensifies the depth of the other art forms involved. Ylotana Project currently consists of five ongoing projects, all of which can be experienced on our website: www.ylotana.com.
