Kiss Corona

2010 is set to be another big year in music, one of the hottest new bands set to emerge in 2010 who everyone will be talking about in Kiss Corona. With a collective sound from rock to pop, infloences from Go Audio and You Me At Six, Kiss Corona are the band to catch live in 2010, for all there live dates, music and more go to there official website @ www.myspace.com/kisscorona. For the introduction interview low down on Phil, Luke, Sam and Steve check out there interview here at music promotions.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with Kiss Corona, can you give us a brief description of who you are?

Were Kiss Corona, we play Pop/Rock there's four of us, (Phil, Steve, Luke and Sam) Were easy listening pop rock.

Do you have a specific music genre that you feel you fit into?

Just pop/rock, we feel the more genres we can fit into the better, we want to appeal to more than one audience, we can really turn it up when we need to!!

Is there any bands you feel that you are similar to?

Phil would like to be like all time low!!! the guy from Busted James Bourne is a big influence on us, because of his songwriting, You me At Six, Go audio, bands like that really, that's really our inspiration.

Your debut EP Look To The Stars has been released, what can we expect from it?

It's just a 3 track ep to let people know what we sound like, get to know us, 3 main tracks with our big single being Underage Is All The Range, it has been met quite positively to be fair, we've had some good radio airplay were really proud of it.

Is Look to the Stars a good indication of what's to come from Kiss Corona? is this your actual sound or you just experimenting to find your niche?

Its kind of given us a taste of what direction where moving in to, were going adventurous with our writing at the moment, some of our songs are a little bit more serious, more fun instead of just middle of the road, we still love our older stuff but were starting to go into different paths with our writing, more mature, more confident sound.

Are you currently working on a full album?

We've got a few ideas in the pipeline but nothing is set in stone yet, we may do a full length album, we've wrote a new song called Chelsea, which we would like as a single, at the moment we are just debating weather to just release a few singles first before a full album. Were going through a few single at the moment like a few big ballads and deciding what to release and when.

Where can your fans listen to your music?

Through our My space its all on there, we've got a re recorded version of one of our songs from our ep, our music is also distributed through itunes UK and US, if you also add us on Msn, we will be able to send you music for free, we started Msn so we can talk to more fans. So we can build up a good relationship with our fans.

How Long do you spend recording?

We do set our self like a time limit, maybe a month or 2, we just keep recording until we produce some good music, until it fits, we have to be satisfied and love it, if we love then other people will love it.

Your set list list, how many songs do you have? do you alternate your set depending on the venue?

At the moment we have just wrote a lot of new material above the Ep,so we play two out of the three songs on the ep, the rest of the 8 set is filled up with original songs and a couple of covers, we have generally kept it the same throughout all of our gigs, we have started to experiment with sample of other songs, due to time restrictions we can some times add songs on to our set list then other times we have to drop them, we re jig some of our songs make them fresher.
We love performing Underage is all the range and Chelsea, both really good crowd pleasers.

Where can your fans come see you live?

20th of December were at the Maze in Nottingham with a band called What Makes You Beautiful, then January the 17th at Rock City playing with 20/20 that will be awesome, we're spending time on the run up to Christmas writing and recording, we want a bigger set list so we can start headlining a few more shows rather than just supporting. All our live dates are up on our my space @ www.myspace.com/kisscorona.

Your current endorsement deals include Rotosound strings, any more sponsorship deals?

We just got endorsed by Rotosound strings which is nice it takes some strain off our pockets when we need strings, apart from that not really not at the moment.

Is 2010 going to be more about performing live?

Yeah we want to get out there, perform live as much as possible, play were people want up to play, we want to build up our own set around a home town, people get to know us, we want to be everywhere!

Any final messages?

Thank you to everyone who supported us so far, came to see us live, keep listening!
