VIDORRA SINGLE: “HOOK UP THE BASS” OUT 17TH OCTOBER 2018

At only 19 years of age Vidorra packs in what most people can’t in a whole life time: recording artist, record producer, mixing engineer and mastering engineer.

He was given a good grounding from an early age: classically trained in music since the age of 7. But he wanted to do much more than play instruments- his dream was to be master of his own musical fate.

In 2013 Vidorra teamed up with Mix engineer Matthew Ball and caught the attention of BBC Introducing which gave him the platform to take his music further. He decided to go for it and set up some independent releases under his new label ‘What She Order’, including his debut single ‘Love I Recognize’ featuring Samantha Lloyd. The track surpassed 60,000 streams online. Not a bad start for a beginner! Encouraged by his early success, more new music followed. His next release ‘Make Them Pa$$ Out’ hit over 80,000 streams on SoundCloud, followed by ‘Talk 2 Me’ which reached over 230,000.

Then came ‘After Hours’, a single featured on ‘Record of The Week’ on BBC radio, ‘Get Down’, a track showcased on BBC Radio 1and BBC Asian Network and then the single “M.I.A” featuring American hit singer / songwriter Mickey Shiloh who has famously worked with Britney Spears, Dada Life, Iggy Azalea, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J, Pitbull, Twista, Wiz Khalifa and Vic Mensa- and who was first signed and developed by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. Not bad company to keep! This record gained Vidorra immediate support from Music Week, Record of The Day, Certified UK, IX Daily, Zero Magazine and a number of other well-established media outlets.  More releases followed plus a mainstage performance at Lymelight festival and a working trip to LA where he collaborated with many notable American artists and producers.

Now Vidorra releases his new single “Hook Up The Bass” an emotional song which is about focusing on living life in the present and using time wisely and giving your all with love and confidence. As Vidorra says:  I came across the guitar line that is used in the song and it caught me emotionally. The song is inspired by looking within and being open to changing the lens through which you see the world, for the better! The song represents love and overcoming hardships and adversity in life over time. All great things take time.

Vidorra says his goal in music is to fulfil a purpose:  to push the boundaries of musical greatness even further than where they have reached today.

Did we say? Vidorra is 19 years old….
